Tiffin School is looking for a passionate, proactive Teaching Assistant to support our diverse and growing student body. This role offers a chance to make a real impact, with opportunities for 1:1 and whole-class support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support students and assist the class teacher.
• Help maintain a positive, productive learning atmosphere.
• Provide tailored 1:1 support and assist during lessons and transitions.

Full-time or part-time, term-time only. Initial two-year fixed contract.

Over the last couple of years, the Learning Support Department has significantly grown.  Led by our SENCo, we are lucky to have a Deputy SENCo in charge of KS3 and a team of 5 teaching assistants, who work to promote excellence in our students both academically and pastorally, in and out of the classroom. We also have a Deputy SENCo Therapeutic Practitioner on the team who supports students with SEND in their mental well-being. Each TA takes on responsibility for being a key worker for high need students, which ensures continuity of support and excellent parental and external agency relationships, as well as wider SEND responsibilities. Whoever joins our team should be passionate about providing outstanding support and be flexible and positive in their approach to all situations. 

Tiffin School has a vibrant and friendly staff, with a diverse mix of teachers and support staff. The location is close to Kingston town centre, with excellent public transport links to Central London. We are close to Richmond and Bushy Parks, and the Surrey countryside.
