We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking staff, working initially within our EYFS to nurture, target and enable our children to thrive.

Brook Acre is a school moving from strength to strength with a buzz for improvement rippling throughout each key stage. This is an exciting time for our school and a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our team in developing the quality of provision we offer to ensure each child is provided with outstanding opportunities to move their learning forward.

We are looking for someone who:

-         Holds relevant qualifications at the level applied for, or higher;

-         Promotes inclusion and acceptance of all pupils;

-         Establishes good working relationships with pupils and with parents, acting as a positive role model for all;

-         Demonstrates a commitment to raising standards, with a genuine belief that every child can achieve and thrive;

-         Demonstrates the ability to work effectively, and contribute positively, within a team environment;

-         Shows high expectations for the attitudes and behaviour of everyone;

-         Has a passion for improving the life chances of children and for impacting positively on pupil outcomes.

 A specialist interest or previous training in Speech, Language and Communication is desirable, though not essential for this role.

 In return we can offer happy, enthusiastic pupils with great potential, who demonstrate outstanding behaviour, genuinely enjoy their education and thrive as part of our family within school. Alongside a fully committed and extremely supportive staff team.

The successful candidate will be given plenty of support and guidance to help ease the induction into our school community. We offer extensive professional development opportunities.

Applicants should note that the closing date for applications is at 12.00 pm on Wednesday 19 October. Application forms are available on our school website at www.brookacre.co.uk by emailing Ms Lesley Burrows, School Business Manager at brookacre_primary@sch.warrington.gov.uk
