About the role
Bringhurst Primary School are looking for an outstanding Teaching Assistant with sound knowledge and/or experience of the primary curriculum to assist our class teachers with providing a world class education to our pupils. The post holder will promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop as well as being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
20 hours per week
Term time 39 weeks per year

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and they will enjoy working class teachers to provide a high quality of education for our children.
Ability to work as part of a team
Have excellent classroom practice
An active team plater who shows initiative and works well as part of a team
Have a commitment to safeguard children in our care
Able to use basic IT and have relevant knowledge of IT software packages
Knowledge of relevant policies and codes of practice and awareness of relevant legislation
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Experience of working with relevant age groups within a learning environment
