Willows Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our academy in March/April 2026 on a permanent, part time basis.

Your new role

 

As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

 

Salary:  Grade C Points 04 to 06 (£25,185 to £25,989 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata.  The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £17,641.67.

 

Hours:  30 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks).
