Teaching Assistant Level 1+ Post  (Job Ref S/GJ/7015/0107)

Temporary to 31st August 2024

32.5 Hours per week – Term Time Only

(Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri 8.30am -3.15pm & Tues 8.30am-4.30pm)

Grade 3, SCP 5-6, Actual Salary £16209 - £16504

The successful candidate will be willing to work across all cohorts and sites of the school. This role could include being in class, and/or working on a 121 basis with a student.

Redwood aims to provide the highest quality of teaching and learning to our youngsters and requires all our staff to work together as a part of a coherent team.

We are seeking to recruit a person who will:

• Act as a responsible adult and assist with the supervision, personal care, welfare and keeping safe of individuals and / or groups of children and their environment under the direction / instruction of teaching and / or senior staff
• Assist with resources and basic classroom management techniques to support their learning
• To be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
