  Teaching Assistants (level 1) required for January 2018 

TA 1 – fixed term to 31 July 2018 (subject to funding)

To work 36.25 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (i.e. 39 weeks)

GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Maths – essential

Post 1:  to work with the Science department, qualification in Science – desirable

Post 2: to work across all departments

We are looking to appoint teaching assistants to support pupils within the SEND department, to support the needs of pupils to ensure that every child succeeds.

Promoting self-esteem, encouraging pupils to act independently and supporting academic and personal development are all vital to this role.

Successful candidates will need to have high expectations of all pupils’ attainment and behaviour, and be willing to immerse themselves in all aspects of school life.

Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 4.00 pm (36.25 hours per week) term time.
