The Vale Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to join our academy as soon as possible on a permanent basis. As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

Hours: 27.5 hours per week / Term Time only (38 Weeks) / Permanent.

The Vale Primary Academy caters for just over 250 boys and girls between the ages of three and 11. The school is situated on the boundary of Knottingley and Ferrybridge, three miles from Pontefract and four miles from Castleford.

We have high expectations of all our children and learning takes place in a safe, exciting and purposeful way.
