Salary: Grade 2 Full Time (£18,562 rising to £20,493)
(Approx. pro rata PT salary for 32.5 hours post is £14,456 rising to £15,960)

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant who:
• Have experience of working with children at secondary age
• Have a good understanding of numeracy and literacy
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a way to promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
• Have good organisational skills
You will be enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working as part of a team and want the very best for our students.

Hillcrest School and Sixth Form Centre is a non-selective 11 – 18 girls’ school with approximately 650 students. Girls are admitted in Years 7-11 (ages 11-16) and both boys and girls are admitted to our mixed Sixth Form Centre. The school is a member of The Oaks Collegiate, a close network of 10 Secondary and 7 Primary Schools in South-West Birmingham. Hillcrest has well established systems and structures in place to support staff at all stages of their career journey.
