This is an exceptional opportunity as we look for someone to join us at this incredibly exciting time in the school’s history.  The governors of this highly successful 11-16 Voluntary Aided RC High School are seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with children, who have recognized educational needs, under the direction/supervision of teaching staff.  The Teaching Assistant should be experienced in supporting pupils with behaviour, emotional and social difficulties.  The job will include a contribution to the delivery of differentiated curricula, enabling meaningful inclusion and access to learning for these pupils.

St. Joseph’s is a Voluntary Aided mixed Roman Catholic High School located in Bolton and under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Salford, with approximately 890 pupils enrolled, aged 11 to 16. We are also a designated Sports College with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.  We were established in 1963 and will be celebrating our Golden Jubilee in 2013.
