Teaching Assistant – Level 2 

Level 2 –  5 days a week (30 hours per week), (30 hours per week, to be allocated between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm by arrangement). Permanent to start 5th September 2022

Salary Scale 2 5-6 (£19,650- £20,043) Pro rata – Term-time only. 

In order to further support  the changing needs of our school we are looking to extend our Teaching Assistant Team.  We are seeking to appoint four caring teaching assistants to join our committed, professional and friendly team.        Could you be one of the people we are looking for?

We would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who:

have experience in or a desire to work in Early Years  and/or

have experience of successfully supporting children with  communication and interaction needs or a desire to do so and/or

have experience of successfully supporting children who are new to English and/or

have experience of successfully supporting children with SEMH needs or a desire to do so and/or

have a good rapport with children and are able to engage them in learning

have high expectations for pupils’ work and behaviour

are able to promote the aims and values of the school

are able to work flexibly as part of a team with drive and passion to ensure that all children achieve

are willing and able to share good practice and learn from others 

The successful candidate will be expected to meet all aspects of the job description.   Teaching Assistants working at Level 2 are expected to be flexible, able and willing to work with different age groups and children as required (including those with medical, challenging and/or complex needs)
