Teaching Assistant - Level 2

We are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support students with a whole range of special educational needs. This role will involve supporting students in intervention classes, assisting them with accessing teaching and learning in lessons and keeping up to date with work. It will also involve planning and delivering lessons to small groups of students.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch), 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days). The pro-rata, actual salary, based on 37 hours per week will be Point 5 £18,450 – Point 7 £19,129. However, 32.5 working hours will also be considered and the pro-rata, actual salary, based on 32.5 hours will be Point 5 £16,206 – Point 7 £16,803.
