Ash Hill Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our academy team as soon as possible.
Hours: 28 hours per week / Term Time only / Temporary to end 31 August 2021.
The successful applicant will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
To have the professional capacity and willingness to support students who have complex and/or long term health conditions, Individual Health Care Plans (IHCP's), Physical Difficulties or other Special Education Needs through intimate care, as and when required.
To ensure that accurate and written records are kept when supporting students with intimate care, adhering at all times to Delta Academies Trust Intimate Care Policy.
To work collaboratively with all key parties during the development of IHCP's to ensure that the intimate care provided is of the highest quality and in agreement by all involved, to effectively support the student.
