Job overview

Ladybarn Primary wishes to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to joining the KS2 team supporting children individually and small groups inside and outside, supporting learning, social and pastoral development.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents.  Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process. A very strong commitment to raising aspiration and attainment in an urban setting is essential.

Level 2, Grade 3 £17.173 pro rata, term time, 23.5 hours per week. This equates to £9,884 per annum. Working hours 8.30am until 12.30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday 8.30am until 4.40pm with 40 minutes lunch on Wednesdays.

This position is subject to 2 professional references and DBS clearance.
