The Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust (Thrive) formally YHCLT and is responsible for nine schools across Hull; two secondary and seven primary. Ings Primary School, part of the Trust, are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will be required to work 30 hours per week, term time only.

The successful candidate will join a hardworking and supportive team.  The role will include providing one to one, small group, whole class and lunchtime support across the school including intervention programmes.  Applicants will need to be committed and flexible in order to meet the needs of the school.

Applicants will need excellent skills in English (written, reading and oral) and maths and other curriculum areas and have high expectations of the students and themselves.  In addition, applicants must be an excellent communicator, hardworking, creative, enthusiastic and flexible.  

The school (including the EYFS provision) was judged as Good by Ofsted in April 2019 and we are committed to working hard to achieve Outstanding at the next inspection.

Ings Primary School is a Community Primary co-educated day school catering for approximately 270 children, including a 26 place purpose built nursery. It is not affiliated to any religious denomination. The school has an early years admission policy and this allows us to admit pupils at the beginning of the school year in which they reach their 5th birthday. We also have a purpose built Nursery Unit. The Nursery, Foundation Stage and Year 1 children are accommodated in a single storey building. Children in Years 2,3,4,5 and 6 are in the double storey building.

Our recent Ofsted in October 2014 was judged as "Good". We are committed to the "Open Futures" approach.
