Teaching Assistant Level 2

Estcourt Primary Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy in January 2026 on a part time, temporary basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

Hours: 30 hours per week / Term Time only (38 Weeks) / Temporary

Our academy was recently visited by Ofsted in January 2025 and we gained an outstanding judgement in all strands of inspection. Our school is incredibly diverse with over a third of our pupils either speaking a different language or coming to use from a different country. Our percentage of pupils with identified SEND needs is above the national and local average.
