29.50 hours per week – term time only
NJC Local Government Pay Scale Points 5 - 6
£18795 - £19171 per annum pro – rata, (actual salary £12993 - £13253)

We are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support for individuals and small groups of students. Your task will be to assist those students to access the curriculum and help reduce any barriers to learning. Good numeracy and literacy skills are essential and IT skills are desirable. You must have an interest in working with students with physical needs and be able to assist in their personal care.
An interest in the core subjects of English, Mathematics or Science would be particularly advantageous.
We are a well-established and diverse team who would welcome applications from post-graduates considering teaching as a career, as well as candidates with teaching assistant qualifications.
