Grange Lane Infant Academy are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy in April 2026 on a temporary basis.

Your new role

 

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

Experience working with children under the age of 5 would be essential due to the role being placed in our 2-3 year old nursery Little Grangers.

Grange Lane is located in Rossington, Doncaster. We are a thriving and inclusive infant academy for children aged between 2 and 7 years old. We offer a morning and afternoon nursery or the option of flexible provision for children from the term after they turn 2. We have a well-equipped building and a large outdoor space for children to become independent, active learners.

Many of our children and their parents/carers are in homes where there is a considerable amount of disadvantage and require a high level of nurture and support. Our school is a place where children feel safe and happy. Our vision is to create a happy, welcoming and secure learning community where everyone is valued and respected. We aim to work together to inspire and challenge all children so they become confident, motivated lifelong learners who have opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
