Job overview
Our SEND department, the LINC (Learning, Inclusion and Nurture Centre), is growing, and we’re looking for a TA2 to join our friendly team of Teaching Assistants, SENDCo and 2 Assistant SENDCos. The LINC is a welcoming, well-resourced part of the school. It has a Learning Hub, Literacy Hub, Nurture Hub, 2 intervention rooms, physio room and even an Animal Care Hut and Forest School. We run an extensive offer of interventions to help children with their areas of need and their barriers to learning.
We believe supporting students with SEND is a whole-school responsibility. Our aim is for every SEND student to be happy, attending well, achieving success and thriving in line with their peers.
We see every TA as a SEND specialist. You’ll get ongoing, evidence-informed training and a clear development pathway, with the chance to build expertise in a particular area of need. If you’re caring, have high expectations and want to help young people become confident, self-assured learners, we’d love to hear from you.
In short, we are a popular, high performing school with academy status, situated between Warwick and Leamington Spa with a strong community spirit. Our staff offer students a massive range of extra-curricular opportunities in addition to a wide curriculum and we would be delighted to expand this further if you have additional time and talents to share.
You will have access to a range of personal and professional development opportunities plus Smart Clinic benefits and Staff Wellbeing initiatives to support you along the way.
If you feel you share our values, have the vision and drive for excellence and want to be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team, committed to ensuring that students fulfil their potential, then we would like to hear from you.
