An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join Lea Hall Academy, a brand-new purpose-built special school in Kitts Green. This brand-new Academy educates boys aged 5-14 years with complex social emotional, mental health (SEMH) needs. Lea Hall Academy is part of Forward Education Trust, a growing Multi Academy Trust established in 2017 serving special schools across the West Midland area.


The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting and assisting pupils with behavioural difficulties and promoting pupils social and emotional development. Some of our pupils also having other additional diagnoses such as ADHD, Autism and ODD and therefore need staff who are confident and resilient, patient and nurturing and who want to help us to support our pupils to thrive and develop into successful young people. Successful applicants will be able to contribute to the planning and evaluation of learning activities with teaching staff in order to plan and deliver high quality educational provision for our young people.
