Salary:   NJC Pt 14 - 17 £28,624pa - £30,060pa FTE

Responsible to:  Lead of Pupil Support Centres

Contract: 37 hours per week - term time only

Framework: To work within the NJC current pay and conditions, current legislation and the policies of the school.

The person appointed will have:

• A passion for ensuring the best outcomes for all students, including those who are part of disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. 

• Excellent pedagogical knowledge. 

• Relentlessly high standards and expectations of all students. 

• A commitment to continuous improvement of their own practice, irrelevant of job role, career stage or position. 

• Experience working with students who have complex SEND.

• Experience leading literacy/numeracy/SEMH interventions.

Murray Park Community School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 foundation school. The secondary school is located on the western edge of the city of Derby and has around 1100 students on roll, with a standard admission of 280 students.  The school operates a 25 period week on a two week timetable basis.
