Teaching Assistant Level 3

Breckon Hill Primary School is looking to recruit one Level 3 Teaching Assistant to initially, support learning in the Early Years Foundation Phase.

Salary: Level 3 Grade E SCP 17- 18 £17782 – £18,070 pro rata
Hours: 32.5 hours per week per week term time only plus 3 days Contractual Status: Permanent - to start Summer term 2017

The successful applicant will have:

• the commitment to providing a positive start to the education of our children

• an ability to relate well to children and their families in a multicultural environment
• an ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) to a good standard
• an understanding of the principles of child development and child-led learning
• an ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
• an ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
• an ability to cover the class for short periods of time
• NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification
