Job overview

We are looking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant who will have an excellent track record of successfully developing children to achieve their full potential. The postholder will be attached to the Student Support Department but will be deployed where appropriate across the school. 

The role will provide support to a range of SEND students across the curriculum, as directed by the SENDCo, as well as working directly with targeted students who have complex needs such as Dyslexia, ASD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. 

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated with excellent skills, committed to working alongside a supportive and dynamic team to continue to raise standards and achievement in our SEND students. It is essential that applicants have experience of supporting students with SEND.

The successful candidate will be an important part of Student Support Services. The department is run by the school SENDCo and has team of Learning Support Assistants. The team are incredibly passionate about providing the appropriate support to our students across all key stages, including our Sixth Form Students.
