Due to a significant increase in pupil numbers, an opportunity has arisen for an outstanding individual to join the teaching & learning team at Bowdon Prep School as a Level 3 TA to include cover in the absence of teachers. The role is fixed term to the end of the 2023/24 academic year but with the potential to join the permanent staff, the decision on which will be known in December 23.

Bowdon Preparatory School for Girls is an independent, non-denominational day school for girls aged 3-11. It is situated in Altrincham in Cheshire and has 330 pupils. It was opened in 1983 by Mrs Tan, who ran it as a proprietorial school for 30 years until her retirement in 2011.
Originally based in Stamford Road, Bowdon, the current premises were acquired in 2011 when a secondary school closed down; Bowdon Prep, with the help of a charitable trust set up by parents and staff, moved into the former school building and the current headteacher was appointed.

The school encourages kindness, compassion and tolerance, and it fosters the values of courtesy and responsibility in pupils. Its aim is to ensure all students are provided with an academic and challenging education, and that each girl achieves her best, whether in academics, creative arts or in sport.
