Starting salary - £19,149 p.a. plus a special school allowance of £1,263 p.a.

We are looking for candidates who have:
- NVQ 2 or equivalent childcare qualification or a commitment to training towards this qualification.
- Positive attitude
- Experience and passion for working with children
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team
- A commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children.
Experience of working in a school or with children with special needs is not essential but is desirable.
Full time hours of work will be 8.45 a.m. – 3.45 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and 8.45 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, but will be subject to change from time to time with notice.
Closing date for applications is 5.10.18 noon with Stage 1 of interviews on 9.10.18 from 1p.m. – 3p.m. and Stage 2 either on 10.10.18 or 11.10.18 from 1.30 p.m. – 4p.m on these days. Woodlands is a primary maintained special school in the Local Authority of Harrow for children which caters for 136 pupils aged 3-11 years with a wide range of complex and profound learning difficulties.
