Teaching Assistant


Salary Details: £19,654 - £22,798 for hours and weeks stated

Hours: 37 hours per year, 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus 5 days)

 

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team at Cedar Children’s Academy providing teaching and learning support, under the guidance of the class teacher, to pupils in all areas of the curriculum. The successful candidate will assist the teacher with observation and monitoring of the progress of pupils, maintaining accurate records in order to ensure documentation of all interventions with pupils, detailing their progress and achievement. 

The Teaching Assistant will assist in the supervision of pupils and promote learning and safety, for example, at break and lunch times and on educational visits, promoting positive behaviour patterns, raising self-esteem and improving independent working in pupils to assist in their education and growth.
