Job overview

ABC Teachers are currently working with a school based in Newark, Nottinghamshire for a full-time float Teaching Assistant. This role will include working throughout all areas in Primary from EYFS up to KS2. You will be on hand for general classroom support, 1:1 support and group intervention work. The school need an experienced Teaching Assistant who can be fully available for 5 days per week. 

The school are looking for a strong team player who can get stuck in, straight away. As you will be working throughout all year groups, the ideal candidate will need to be able to build good relationships with staff and children to have maximum impact. You will also need to be well organised and a strong communicator. 

You will follow a set time table throughout the week to establish where you will be supporting on each day. The role will suit someone who likes the variety and flexibility of working in different environments through the school. This is a key role in working with children to help progress and reach their achievable targets, so we are looking for someone with the dedication and attributes to fit into this school.   

The school are based in a large village within Newark offering a strong team ethic throughout. This “Good” school boast a positive, supportive nature which can been seen from the Senior Leadership team. You will be well supported and have great resources on hand.
