Giggleswick Junior School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work alongside teachers in the classroom, helping pupils with their learning on an individual or group, particularly at Key Stage 2, and in all subject areas. 

To assist the Learning Support Co-ordinator with the implementation of Learning and Management Profiles, discussing progress with teachers and pupils, assisting with general administration tasks and helping teaching staff to develop good practice.

The post is a term-time only post (34 weeks a year); the anticipated hours are 0830 – 1630 for four days per week, and 0830 – 1230 on Wednesday’s constituting 37 hours per week. The contract will be to the end of the current academic year with the possibility of a permanent position.
