Do you have experience of working with young people aged 11 – 18?

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant looking to join a warm and welcoming school?

Working with a range of students, you will be supporting those with learning needs, assist in maintaining behaviour standards and keep the students on task. This role complements the work of our teachers by providing in-class, small group and 1-1 support to our children.

We would encourage you to visit us before you apply! Visitors and staff working with our SEND department often praise the inclusive atmosphere and the friendly nature of the students and the staff. The department is situated in the Emmaus Centre, a small and safe space in between our two school sites.

There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning. There are also additional opportunities to take on extra paid responsibilities. Although the role is advertised as full time, we are happy to consider job share and flexible working for the right candidates.

This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible. You will be working for 32.5 hours per week, term time only.
