East Leake Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our supportive SEND team in September 2020. The successful candidate will be part of a committed and knowledgeable inclusion team supporting a wide range of needs within the Academy. 

Job title:             Teaching Assistant 

Salary:                 Grade 3, actual salary £9,379 - £9,761 per annum 

Working hours:   22.5 hours per week, term time only 

                               Working pattern can be discussed and agreed 

Start date:           1 September 2020 

Closing date:       2 August 2020 


Our ideal candidate will have:

• An NVQ 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent work experience

• Experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age

• An understanding of how to support a wide range of additional needs

• The ability to relate well to children and adults

• Commitment to protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
