Retford Oaks Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will be part of a committed and knowledgeable team supporting a wide range of needs within the Academy with a focus on support and intervention for students with English as an additional language.
Job title: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 3 or 4 dependent on experience
Actual salary: £15,800 - £18,940 dependent on grade
Working hours: 37 hours per week, term time only
Contract: Fixed term - until end of July 2023
Closing date: 22 May 2022
Our ideal candidate has:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent work experience
- Relevant and recent experience of working with young people
- A thorough and practical understanding of issues related to improving students’ progress and ensuring equality of opportunity both in and out of the classroom
- Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
