The successful candidate will have experience of enabling and supporting pupils with SEND with their personal, social development and academic progress from their individual starting points. Further responsibilities will include administrative tasks to support children and teaching staff.
Essential
· Has a commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils and providing equality of opportunity
· Has educational achievement sufficient to support clear reporting and presentation skills
· An excellent caring and empathetic skill towards pupils
· Have a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or if unqualified, a willingness to complete the qualification
Desirable
· Experience in early years would be beneficial, including the EYFS Framework
· Knowledge of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
