Longcot and Fernham Church of England Primary School is a co-educational, non-selective school for children aged 4-11, based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. It is traditionally a Church of England school and it currently has 120 pupils on its roll.  The school converted to academy status in 2013.

Longcot and Fernham CofE Primary School's motto is: “Together we care what we do, we enjoy what we learn, we achieve.” Its aim is for children to feel safe and valued as part of a caring community. It endeavours to encourage children to be independent thinkers and hopes to inspire enquiring minds to ask questions. The school is committed to working within a structure of Christian values to establish a caring environment and provide quality education.

“There has been excellent and across-the-board improvement since the previous inspection and the school is well-placed to build on its many strengths. Staff show excellent capacity for further improvement because a concerted effort by all the staff team has led to the school’s current outstanding quality of education. Teaching, learning and attainment have been improved to their current excellent levels. When linked to the excellent care, guidance and support provided by staff, pupils’ personal development is now also outstanding.”
