Job overview

The Heys School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and passionate Teaching Assistant. Applicants should be creative and forward thinking and have the drive and motivation to support the further development of the department and the school.

You will join our friendly and supportive Special Educational Needs Department.  Acting under the direction of the school's SENCO, the successful candidate will provide general support to staff and pupils.

• Experience of working with children/young adults 

• High levels of commitment and enthusiasm  

• Initiative, flexibility and ability to work independently  

• Calm under pressure  

• Punctual and reliable 

To start as soon as possible on a temporary contract to possibly become permanent if the right candidate is found.  

You will be joining a committed team of staff, who work with enthusiastic and positive students, who are keen to learn. The school is on an exciting journey as they work in partnership with The Rowan Learning Trust.
