KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF SUPPORT AND LEARNING

·        Support of Primary teachers, in particular the class teacher of the assigned class

·        Take responsibility for yourself and be a proactive individual

·        Help with special educational measures (e.g.: one-to-one tuition)

·        Participate in after-school activities

·        Support regarding differentiation tasks in accordance with the relevant teachers

·        Commit in areas of self-study, e.g., professional development etc.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

·        Strong command of English as a language of instruction

·        Pedagogical certificate to educate and/or take care of children

·        Have a proven track record (references) of being a responsible employee

·        An appreciation of the IB Philosophy

·        Epitomises the School’s values of Happiness, Kindness, and Imagination and definition of Educational Distinction

·        Valid working permit / permission to work in Austria

Desirable:

·        Already be a confident and enthusiastic educator with experience in the Primary School and/or Middle School

·        Knowledge and experience in the IB PYP Programme and Curriculum

·        Experience in using ManageBac software for planning, assessment & reporting for the IB Continuum

·        Valid First Aid Certification
