Teaching Assistant

Doha College is a high profile leading British international school, for children aged 3-18, with a focus on developing a growth mindset within our students and staff.  We offer a well-balanced, all-embracing curriculum that follows the UK National Curriculum.   

We are now looking to make a number of appointments to our Teaching Assistant team to start in the new academic year. 

The primary purpose of the Teaching Assistant is to work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff and within to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups in and out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management and preparation of resources. The primary focus will be to support students in accessing the curriculum and assisting them to undertake and complete tasks.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working with Primary children, will be highly organised with good communication skills and will be good at motivating students to learn.

A high standard of written and spoken English is an essential requirement for all our positions.  

Positions will be based at both our West Bay and Al Waab Campuses. The ability to travel between sites would be advantageous.
