The Role

As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the Class Teacher and wider school team to provide academic and pastoral support, assist in lesson delivery, and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom experience.

You will:

  • Support the delivery of interactive and engaging lessons.
  • Work with individual students and small groups to enhance learning.
  • Assist children with additional needs, including EAL learners.
  • Help prepare and organise classroom resources and displays.
  • Supervise and ensure student safety during transitions and break times.
  • Contribute to tracking student progress and providing feedback.
  • Uphold school values and model positive behaviour at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who:

  • Holds a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Can demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children
  • Has basic IT competency to support classroom technology
  • Is proactive, organised and able to take initiative
