25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term-Time plus 1 week)

Fixed term until 31 August 2023.


Queensway Infant Academy and Nursery are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and well established EYFS team. 


Role Purpose

This role requires the successful candidate to undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils, including support for children that require extra support e.g. medical needs. 

We are looking for someone positive, passionate, caring and enthusiastic and who can engage with children and inspire and motivate them to be the best they can be.

There is a need to promote independent learning skills and behaviours for learning. 


Skills & Experience

Level two qualification in both English and Maths, or equivalent experience are essential.

Situated on the southern side of Thetford, approximately 1 mile from the town-centre, Queensway Infant Academy and Nursery provides a safe and inspiring place where everyone can thrive as individuals, achieve dreams and build futures by learning together.
