Teaching Assistant - Reception (1 year fixed term maternity cover)

We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our boys. You will be working along the Classroom Teacher in a class of 22 boys. You will be primarily involved in enhancing the learning of pupils, undertaking learning activities and supervising pupils. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare display materials and teaching aids, assist with the supervision of pupils outside of the classroom, including playgrounds, dining areas or on visits, manage pupil data and undertake other relevant duties. Outside of normal teaching hours, there will also be opportunities for you to contribute to the wrap-around care programme, helping to increase the confidence of boys and building on important life skills.

The salary scale for this role is £21,000 - £26,000 per annum, working 175 days per year. Actual salary will depend on skills and experience.
