Samuel Barlow Primary Academy has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant with an interest in providing social and emotional support and guidance for pupils experiencing difficulties in accessing learning. You will be driven to enable these students to develop strategies to regulate their emotions and behaviour and achieve success. 

You will work as part of the Teaching Assistant team to deliver structured interventions to students, working with individual students, run groups and providing a nurturing presence throughout the academy. 

Our academy has a caring and supportive staff team who believe in every child at our academy. The future for all pupils who attend Samuel Barlow Primary Academy is bright, and we know that when we work together we can ensure our children achieve their very best.

Situated in the former mining community in Clipstone, the academy has a long history since first opening its doors in 1923 to children in the local area.
