Contract: Term time only

In Toto Ed Cambridge is a registered Independent Special School with an Alternative Provision for post-16 students, supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and mental health (MH) needs. We provide a structured, supportive and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to build confidence, develop resilience and re-engage with education.
We are looking for a committed and proactive Teaching Assistant who is willing to go above and beyond to support students both in and out of the classroom.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help students access learning, develop confidence and manage their emotional and behavioural needs. You will play a key role in supporting both academic progress and personal development.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who is adaptable, resilient and confident working with students who may present additional challenges.

Demonstrates resilience, patience and adaptability
Is committed to supporting students with SEN and mental health needs
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is a team player who contributes positively to the school community
Is willing to get stuck in and go above and beyond for students
Experience working in education, youth work or a similar setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
