Cheney would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant. We are looking to appoint people who are passionate about working with our pupils, supporting their academic, emotional and physical needs. You will be a member of the Learning Support Department assisting the Director of Inclusion and SENCo in delivering the department’s objectives as outlined in the Job Description. We are also mindful of the competing demands people face in their lives and are happy to consider part-time applications. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to be flexible
  • Good interpersonal skills: working with young people, parents and professionals supporting the school, and to liaise with staff across the school

Candidates must have a minimum of GCSE English and Maths grades A-C.

The post is for 37 hours per week, term-time only plus one day with a salary on Grade 4 (Points 11 to 13), £14,199.91 - £14,520.53 per annum, pro rata.
