Mount House School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 pastoral and academic support to a student with EHCP needs.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide 1:1 in-class and pastoral support to a student with EHCP needs

  • Support learning, organisation and emotional regulation

  • Promote independence and confidence

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and Heads of Year

  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

We welcome applications from candidates with experience in either mainstream or specialist settings, particularly those with knowledge of supporting students with ADHD, trauma-related needs and specific learning difficulties.

This post is offered on a full or part-time basis (term time only) and is linked to Local Authority funding for a named student.
