We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our collaborative and growing Academy team in September as a Teaching Assistant.
This is an exciting position, which could offer excellent career progression and development. Ideally the person we are looking for will have the minimum of a Level 3 equivalent qualification, be passionate about education and have a flair for working with young people. The position would also suit a university graduate interested in gaining initial classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant, or those looking to start a career path in Teaching.
Harris Primary Academy East Dulwich opened in September 2014 and is now well established in the community; housed in our brand new modern, bright building on Lordship Lane, with four, soon to be five, year groups. Our Academy was judged to be ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in May 2017 and was the first Free School in the country to achieve Unicef’s Rights Respecting School Award in July. It is a warm, welcoming place to work and learn, situated right in the heart of vibrant East Dulwich.
What we are looking for:
Working as part of an experienced, collaborative and talented team, your role will be to provide support to the class teacher, teaching small groups of pupils, 1:1 support work both inside and outside the classroom, delivering intervention programmes and helping to prepare and organise teaching and learning resources.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner and team player, who enjoys working with young people, has a desire to contribute to the development of the school and has:
