Sheffield Park Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our established team.

We are seeking to recruit someone with a child centered approach and excellent people skills to support students effectively for them to fully participate in learning within the classroom environment. Experience of supporting students with SEND and/or complex learning needs would be advantageous for this role.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Experience of working with students with SEND.
  • The ability to work in partnership, communicating effectively with children, parents, staff and governors 
  • The ability to inspire and motivate children.
  • Experience of a range of inclusive approaches which will allow children with additional needs to enable them to thrive and make progress. 
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills and work effectively as part of a team.  
  • Maths & English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent.
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant Qualification / willing to complete a Teaching Assistant Qualification.
