Teaching Assistant - Classroom based.
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to manage our Breakfast club and then to be class based each morning, supporting with Maths lessons and English sessions. Whether Key Stage One or Key Stage Two, the role will entail supporting all primary aged children at Breakfast club before being class based and supporting small groups of children through additional input, modelling of work, adapting activities, leading small group work, and supporting the class teacher with resourcing and delivery. We are seeking someone who is kind and caring and able to support our children socially, emotionally and academically through high expectations and encouragement. We are looking for someone who is energetic, passionate, engaging and willing to be part of our wonderful team and community.
Role: Teaching Assistant - Key Stage One or Key Stage Two
Part time: 26 hours and 15 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 0745-1300
Contract: Permanent, term time - 39 weeks per year.
Salary: Grade 15, Point 3 currently £24,027 FTE (actual on 26.25 hours per week £14,596 per annum

The successful candidate will be flexible, supportive and willing to develop professionally. You will need to be organised, good with time pressures and able to work within a team. The right person will be creative, proactive and always child centred. You will need to plan and create activities, join in play with children, and model conversations alongside modelling key values around behaviour and safety. The successful candidate must be successful at creating and maintaining a positive atmosphere, developing and sustaining good working relationships and working wider than our setting, with our families, the community and the Trust.
