About Somerset Progressive School

Somerset Progressive School offers a calm, rural setting where pupils aged 7–19 with SEND, including Autism, receive personalised education and 1:1 or small group support. In 2019, we proudly won the Positive Behaviour Support Award—recognising our commitment to creating a supportive, uplifting environment for every learner.

Key Responsibilities
• Support and mentor students with their learning in class, at home, and through outdoor activities
• Help prepare materials and support lessons, focusing on behaviour management
• Write daily reports on student progress and challenges
• Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers

 Requirements
• Passionate about helping students with SEND
• 2+ years of experience in a SEND setting
• Strong English and Maths skills
