Teaching Assistant – 2 posts Hours - 8.45am - 3.30pm - Monday to Friday - Term Time plus 1 in-service day. Grade 15 Point 9 – Actual gross salary £10,800 per annum. These are permanent posts. Are you an enthusiastic person who enjoys working with young people? Do you have experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs? Do you want to help pupils with Special Educational Needs enjoy learning and achieve their full potential? Required to start 5th September 2017, two enthusiastic, resilient and adaptable teaching and learning assistants to work with pupils of all abilities across the school age range, individually, in small groups or as a whole class. Post 1 – You will have a special interest in Speech & Language Development in Children. Post 2 – You will need to have a special interest in Occupational Therapy and Sensory needs. Please state Post 1 or Post 2 on application form. Minimum qualifications - GCSE C or above in Maths and English or NVQ Level 3 or higher. Experience desirable, but not essential. Holway Park has a positive atmosphere and standards have increased faster than the national rate. The school focuses on providing a well-rounded education, but it offers plenty of extra-curricular activity, with drama events ranging from a Reception nativity play to Year 6 Shakespeare performances.
