Sacred Heart Catholic School is now recruiting a Teaching Assistant to start 1 September 2023 in the Learning Support Department
Led by the academy SENCO, the successful candidate will work directly with pupils both in and outside of the classroom. They will take responsibility for supporting pupils in their learning of the curriculum, leading targeted interventions and coordinating between teachers, parents the wider pastoral team.
Sacred Heart is an outstanding, high performing school. We have high expectations for all our pupils including those with special educational needs. We are seeking to appoint a confident teaching assistant to join our supportive department and support pupils with a range of special educational needs throughout the school. You will need to be enthusiast, ready to learn and take on responsibility quickly and show an interest in working with pupils with SEN. If you are a graduate with a passion for education, you will gain valuable experience in a school setting and take the first steps towards a rewarding career as a teacher.
The successful candidate should have;
· Excellent communication skills
· High expectations for all pupils
· An ability to learn very quickly
· A willingness to take the role further by getting involved in the wider community of the school.
