The Learning Support Department
The learning support team is a strong and forward-thinking team. Together, the team aims to remove individual barriers to ensure all children can reach their full potential.
Presently, the department consists of 7 Learning Support Assistants who support in lessons and deliver targeted intervention across a range of lessons and areas. They are lead by the SENCO. As a department we are adaptable and work closely to support students on an individual basis.
As a department we are always looking to develop and improve. Regular CPD opportunities are provided to ensure members of the team are able to proved the best possible support for the students at Whitworth Park Academy.
The Learning Support department are a creative and reflective team who work collaboratively to ensure every child is given the support them need to achieve.
