Teaching Assistant

Falcons School, which includes Peregrines Nursery, is a one form entry co-educational setting for girls and boys aged 2-11. The pupils receive high levels of academic education and pastoral care. Aged 11, Falcons pupils sit competitive exams for London and Surrey Day Schools, with a small number of pupils choosing boarding schools. Falcons School can be found in Putney and is in a conservation area.

Falcons School is looking to appoint an experienced, well-qualified and reflective Teaching Assistant. They have a passion for early years and are keen to support other colleagues to develop and improve across all Key Stages.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to work independently, using own initiative;
• Ability to evaluate own learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities;
• Ability to relate well to children and adults including colleagues, other professionals and parents;
• Ability to demonstrate and promote good practice in line with the ethos of the school;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, whilst ensuring children, colleagues, parents and carers are respected and listened to;
• Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children;
• Good written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
